OLIVE BRANCH — The memorial service for Charles D. Sartor, 61, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Piperton United Methodist Church, 785 Hwy. 57 East in Piperton, Tenn. Sartor died Sept. 16 after a long illness. He was preceded in death by his father, William H. Sartor, mother, Mary H. Sartor and nephew, Keith Pounders. He leaves his wife, Shirley Sartor; sister, Linda Pounders (Brad); daughter, Carol Duke (Ronnie); son, Greg Sartor (Brandy); four grandchildren, Jacob, Katie, Daniel Duke and Emory Sartor; nephew, Paul Pounders (Rebekah). He was employed as a railroad conductor for 25 years at ICRR, retiring in 1996. He loved gardening and landscaping. Memorial donations may beg made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Piperton United Methodist Church. Hernando Funeral home has charge.
