NESBIT — The funeral service for Dewitt Talmadge May Jr., born June 11, 1926, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. with visitation from 6 to 8 p.m., both at First Baptist Church Nesbit. Brantley-Phillips Funeral Home in Hernando has charge. May died Dec. 14 surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his son, James Daniel May; daughter, Judy Mae Patrick and son-in-law, Dave Kinman. He leaves his wife of 62 years, Shirley Brown May; son, John May (Kathy); daughters, Joy May Kinman, Janet May Caldwell (Ron); eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and one on the way. He was a deacon and was often seen at Coleman’s (“his office”) solving the world’s problems with his friends. Memorials may be sent to Nesbit Cemetery or First Baptist Church Nesbit Building Fund.
