ORLANDO, Fla. — The funeral service for Russell Graham Sparks, 56, formerly of Cordova, Tenn., was Monday at Colonial Hills Church with interment in New Bethlehem Cemetery in Nesbit. Sparks died Jan. 9 at his home. He was a service assurance manager for Federal Express for over 15 years. He leaves one son, Sgt. Jonathan Graham Sparks of Fort Lee, Va.; two daughters, Aimee Michelle Goedecke (Jonathon) of Southaven and Christina Hope Smouse (David) of Savannah, Ga.; mother, Bertha Pauline Sparks of Cordova; two brothers, Don Sparks (Lisa) of Lake Cormorant and Dennis Sparks of Southaven; two grandchildren, Hausten Rye Comeaux of Southaven and Carmella Hope-Destiny Smouse of Savannah; and the mother of his children, Susan Marie Young of Nashville, Tenn. He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Sparks; one sister, Pamela Sparks; and his niece, Angela Eve Sparks. Arrangements were in care of Twin Oaks Funeral H me in Southaven.
