NESBIT — The funeral service for Jack Whitt, 75, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hernando Funeral Home with visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Interment will be in Hernando Memorial Park Cemetery. Whitt died Jan. 25 at Baptist Trinity Hospice House. He was retired from Campbell 66 Express Truck Lines and a member of United Methodist Church in Okolona. He leaves his wife, bobbie Whitt of Nesbit; daughter, Kimberly Dowden (Lee) of Germantown; son, Martin Whitt of Nesbit; mother, Doris Whitt of Tupelo; brother, Bill Whitt (Diane) of Shannon; granddaughters, Meredith and Emma Dowden of Germantown. He was preceded in death by his father, Murray Whitt. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to The West Clinic or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
