TUNICA — The memorial service for Michael Robert White, 81, retired over-the-road truck driver, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Boulevard Baptist Church in Southaven with visitation starting at 1 p.m. White was born May 8, 1932 in Faulkner and died Jan. 28. He leaves his wife, Margaret White of Southaven; daughters, Diane Boswell (Buddy) of Cordova, Tenn., Danita Chambers (Danny) of Southaven, Linda Carlisle (Donald) of Sarah, and Brenda Lovett (Mike) of Olive Branch; sons, David White (Gayle) of Bartlett, Tony White (Lynn) of Crockett, and Randy White (Madonna) of New Albany; sisters, Jimmie Dell Butler of Memphis, and Blonde Mercer (Wesley) of Slayden; brothers, Hardy White (Nadine) of Hernando, Danny Moore of Ripley; 19 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester White, and Jenny and Clyde Moore and one brother, Charlie Moore. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to any Humane Society or Animal Shelter. Arrangements are in the care of Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven.
