SOUTHAVEN — The funeral service for Irvin Wilson Richmond, 70, will be at 2 p.m. today at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home with interment in Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena, Ark. Richmond was born July 8, 1943 to the late William Grady Richmond Sr. and the late Lois McCoy Richmond, and died April 24. He worked for 21 years for the Nesbit and Belmont Water Association and he worked for 15 years at Mohawk Tire and Rubber Company. He was a member of Getwell Road United Methodist Church. He leaves his wife, Bonnie Worstell Richmond; a son, Irvin W. Richmond Jr. of Hernando; a daughter, Cynthia Richmond of Southaven; three grandchildren, Robert W. Richmond, Tyler W. Richmond and Christopher A. Norman; three sisters, Luetta Dawson of Lexa, Ark., Carrie Burt of West Helena, Ark. and Lori Patton of Marion, Ark.; two brothers, Henry Richmond (Sondra) of Helena, Bob Richmond (Jean) of Trenton, Ark.; a host of nieces, nephews and friends; a special niece, Meagan Robbins; and special nephews, Joseph Robbins, Michael Robbins and Ryan Robbins. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Dana Lynn Richmond; and one brother, Grady Richmond. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the American Heart Association.
