WALLS — The funeral service for Mary Sax Paul, 89, retired nurse for Regional Medical Center in Memphis, will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Brantley-Phillips Funeral Home of Hernando. She was formerly from Walls and was known as the Singing Grandma. She died June 21 in Allenbrook Nursing Home in Memphis. Interment will be in Goodrum Cemetery. She leaves sons, Louis Paul Jr. of Mississippi; sister, Ida May Buchanan of Holly Springs; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
