HORN LAKE — The funeral service for Deborah “Debbie” Filkins, 49, will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27 with visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hernando Funeral Home Chapel. Filkins died Aug. 23 at her home. She worked for Swift Transportation and for many years for Pharma Pac. She was a certified EMR and volunteer firefighter. She leaves her husband, Dale Filkins of Horn Lake; sons Dale Filkins Jr. of Horn Lake and Ryan Azra of Meridian; grandchildren, Kylee Ann Nicole Filkins and Cooper Alan Filkins; sisters, Peggy Rittenour of Acme, Penn., Janet Crawford (Brent) of Lower Burrell, Penn.; brothers, Terry Crossland (Leslie) of Plant City, Fla., Ron Crossland of Barton, and Kenny Crossland of Rochester, Ind.
