HORN LAKE - The funeral service for Doris f. Jenkins, 80, will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 10 at Hernando Funeral Home Chapel with a catered reception from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Hernando Memorial Park. Jenkins died Oct. 7. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Coldwater. She leaves her daughter, Brenda Martin of Independence; sons, Johnny Lee Jenkins of Arkabutla, Butch Jenkins of Heber Springs, Ark., Jerry Jenkins of Hernando, Joey Jenkins of Horn Lake; sisters, Mildred Howe of Oakland, Dorothy Shrader of Hernando; brother, Roy "Jackie" Noe of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; eleven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John L. "Bud" Jenkins; sister, Frances Hawkins; brothers, Raymond Noe and Rayford Noe.
