Greenleaf The funeral service for Martha Jean Hudson, 71, retired teacher for DeSoto County Schools, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Greenleaf United Methodist Church with visitation starting at 11 a.m. at the church. Brantley-Phillips Funeral Home of Hernando has charge. Hudson died Nov. 19 at Delta Medical Center in Memphis. She leaves a brother, Jimmy Hudson (Anita) of Greenleaf; two nieces, Karen Bloom and Annie King; two nephews, Barry Hudson and Ben Hudson; several other family members and close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Kathleen Hudson; brother, Ferrell Hudson; great-nephew, Bryon Hudson.
