David O. Richardson, 72, passed away April 7, 2015 at Methodist North Hospital. Mr. Richardson retired after 20-plus years from Independent Presbyterian Church, where he served as the business manager. After retirement, he continued his work as Director of Development for Palmer Home for Children. Mr. Richardson is survived by his wife, Carolyn Cagle Richardson; daughters, Paige Griffin (Keith) and Angie Burnett (John Ball); brother, Robin Richardson (Deb); sister, Gaye Cone; and grandchildren, J.D. and Allie Brisentine and Ann and J.B. Burnett. He was preceded in death by his sister, Judy Tant. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 9 at Independent Presbyterian Church, with a reception to follow.
