MEMPHIS — The funeral service for Billy Eugene Dearing, 78, retired construction worker, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Brantley-Phillips Funeral Home with visitation from noon until service time. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery Midtown. Dearing died March 12. He was the widower of Joyce Christine Dearing. He was also preceded in death by three children, Keith Dearing, Catherine Dearing and Gene Dearing. He leaves a daughter, Anne Whitten (Michael) of Bartlett, Tenn.; a son, Steve Dearing (Sharon) of Hernando; two sisters, Pat Ward of Gulfport and Glenda Parks of Drew; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
