DESOTO COUNTY — A memorial service for Stan Boland, owner of Boland Framing Construction Inc., will be today at 6 p.m. at Stan Quarles Community Center in Bridgetown Subdivision in Nesbit. Boland died of cancer May 19. He was the son of the late Shorty and Boots Boland of Olive Branch. He leaves his wife, Delores; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Brian and Heather of Byhalia,Nick and Lindsey of Farmington, Minn.; three grandchildren, Shianne, Carter and Lana; three brothers and their wives, Ricky and Elaine of Olive Branch, James and Norma of Olive Branch and Danny Ray of Tyro; one sister and husband Ellis and Virginia Broadway of Hernando; five nieces; three nephews and three grand nephews. Any memorials may be made to St. Jude or LeBonheur.
