LEWISBURG — The funeral service for James Paul Berryhill Sr., 67, will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at New Prospect Baptist Church with visitation starting at 1 p.m. Berryhill died June 7. He was born July 13, 1944 to Flossie and Paul Berrywhill. He leaves his wife of 43 years, Frankie McCulley Berryhill; son, Jamie (Ashley); grandsons, Aiden and Brooks; sister, Elizabeth Hanna of Lewisburg; brother, Howard (Sherry) of Olive Branch. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Pauline Huffman and brothers, Darrell, Aubrey and Rayford Berryhill. He retired in 1999 from CenturyLink after 30 years of service. He was a deacon and active member of New Prospect Baptist church in Lewisburg. He was a racecar enthusiast, driving his own car at Riverside Speedway and other local tracks until 1988. Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch has charge.
