NESBIT — The graveside service for Dean Kearney Long, 67, will be at 12:30 p.m. today at Pleasant Hill Cemetery with a visitation from 11 a.m. until noon at Forest Hill Funeral Home South. Long died July 9. She was a past teacher for Rainbows and had been a mentor for the Gideon's Ladies Auxiliary and a published writer for Guideposts as well as being an accomplished seamstress. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.M. and Sybil Dunn; a sister, Margaret Downes. She leaves a son, Terrance F. Long (Meribeth) of Southaven; two daughters, Angie Colby (Dave) of Memphis and Keren Sours (Daniel) of Nesbit; seven grandchildren, Madeline, Addison, Sean, Hayden, Alanna, Victoria and Dawson.
