HERNANDO — The funeral service for Barbara Ann Neeley Poppenheimer, born June 9, 1939 in Ola, Ark., will be at 2 p.m. today at Fellowship Baptist Church in Hernando with visitation starting at 1 p.m. followed by a small graveside service at Hernando Memorial Park Cemetery. Poppenheimer died Oct. 14. She was married to Joe Poppenheimer in 1969. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eschal and Ruby Neeley, one brother; Jerry Neeley; son, Brian Davis Crow. She leaves her husband of 42 years, Joe Poppenheimer; two brothers, Johnny and Danny Neeley of Ola, Ark.; four daughters, Patty Caligaris (Tony) of Hernando, Jill Johnson (Mike) of Pittsford, N.Y., Carolyn Mears (Harold) of Olive Branch, Beth Carrol of Hernando; 13 grandchildren, Alyssa and Nic Caligaris, Quinn, Caden, Kyan, Callie and Carys Johnson, Jessica, Jennifer and Colton Mears, Sherri McKinney, Kelley, John and Paul Carroll and two great grandchildren, Eli and Mabry McKinney and many more family members and friends.
