SOUTHAVEN — The graveside memorial service for Neil Shelton, 79, supervisor for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4 at Hickman City Cemetery in Hickman, Ky. Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven has charge. Shelton was born Nov. 12, 1933 in Hickman and died Nov. 28 at Baptist-Desoto. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He leaves his wife, Carolyn of Coldwater; two sisters, Ruth Mansfield and Judy McCoy, both of Union City, Tenn.; and two grandchildren, Nick and Daniel. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Shelton.
