BYHALIA — The funeral service for James H. Dunlap, 64, was Monday at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch with interment in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. He was a Vietnam Veteran of the U.S. Army and was a truck driver with Empire Express in Memphis. He was a Shriner and member of the Olive Branch Masonic Lodge and for 25 years he pulled the chains at the Olive Branch High School football games. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin A. and Catherine N. Dunlap; and his brother-in-law, Charles W. Medlin. He leaves his wife of 40 years, Sheila Dunlap; son, Art Dunlap (Marcia); daughter, Stephanie Stephensen (Kevin); four grandsons, Jay, Joey, BB, and Austin; sister, Georgia Medlin; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be directed to Baptist Trinity Hospice House in Collierville, Tenn.
