SOUTHAVEN — The funeral service for James B. Burford Jr., 78, retired computer operator for Fleming Foods will be at 11 a.m. today at Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven with visitation starting at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Twin Oaks Memroial Gardens. Burford was born Sept. 18, 1934 and died Jan. 11 at Baptist Restorative Care in Memphis. He was a member of Crossroads United Methodist Church in Collierville, Tenn. and was an Air Force veteran. He leaves his wife of 49 years, Marjorie Burford and one daughter, Deanne Burford both of Southaven. He was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Wayne Burford. The family requests that any memorials be made to Crossroads United Methodist Church, 9315 East Shelby Drive, Collierville, TN 38017.
