HERNANDO — The funeral service for Billy George McCord, 76, diesel mechanic, will be at 3 p.m. Sunday with visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southven. Interment will be in Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens. McCord died April 11 at his home. He was born Aug. 16, 1936 in Chicago, Ill. He was a veteran of the Air Force and the Marine Corps. He was a member of both the Southerncross Motorcycle Club and the Brotherhood of the Third Wheel. He leaves two sons, William McCord and Robert L. McCord; two daughters, Sarah McCord Fisher and Patricia L. McCord; six grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Sue Ann McCord.
