HERNANDO — The funeral service for Roy Malone Prestage, 88, formerly of Fulton, will be at 2 p.m. today with visitation from noon until 1:45 p.m. Interment will be in Hernando Memorial Park. Prestage was born Oct. 3, 1924 and died June 10. He lived most of his life in Itawamba County. He was preceded in death by one son, Barry Prestage, his parents, and seven brothers and sisters. He leaves his wife of 62 years, Annie Prestage of Hernando; one son, Tony Prestage of Hernando; one daughter, Debbie Hodges of Olive Branch; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. He was a member of East Fulton Baptist Church. After serving in the U.S. Navy, Prestage graduated from the University of Mississippi and was retired from the AFLAC insurance company.
