BYHALIA — The memorial service for Freddie Gerald Crain, 62, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven. Crain was born March 8, 1951 in New Albany and died June 24 at Methodist-Memphis. He was a retired pressman for Quebecor, an Army veteran and a Baptist. He leaves his wife of 11 years, Connie R. Crain of Byhalia; two daughters, Carly Huhn and Amy Crain, both of Southaven; his mother, Joyce Crain of Horn Lake; and three grandchildren, Jesse Hunt, Sierra Hunt, and Noah Jackson. He was preceded in death by his father, Crockett Crain and three sisters, Melba Wilbanks, Edna Bridges, and Kathy Davis. The family requests that any memorials be made to the American Stroke Association.
