MT. PLEASANT — The funeral service for Carol Ann Wright, 70, formerly of Kansas City, will be at noon Wednesday at Twin Oaks Funeral Home with visitation starting at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant. She was an avid reader and traveler. She leaves husband Jack Wright and many children, Heather Miles (Derek), Bonnie VanEss (Dave), Sherry Whitmarsh (Mark), Kevin Wright (Nancy), Sabrina Smith, Bryan Wright (Mindy), Jerry Williams (Kitty) and Brenda Williams (Frank); grandchildren, Thomas Whitmarsh, Hunter Whitmarsh (Shannon), Kristen Whitmarsh, Alyssa VanEss, Luke VanEss, Darby Miles, Crawford Miles, Cayce Anderson, Caleb Anderson (Samantha), Rainer Anderson, Sallee Chalk (Billy), Mollee Williams, Nick Williams (Leslie), Rachel Wright, Rebecca Yeldell (Andrew), Amanda Bradley (Lebannon), Josh Williams, Michael Williams and several great grandchildren. She is proceeded in death by her parents Thelma and Edgar Humble, and her brother Kenneth Ball. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to First Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant.
