SOUTHAVEN — The funeral service for Jere Lee King, 72, widower of Barbara Ann Billingsley King, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Forest Hill Funeral Home-Midtown with visitation starting at noon. King died April 5 from pneumonia and other complications. He was a retired postal worker for more than 35 years. He leaves one brother, Bill King; niece and great nephew, Dana and Alec Mulvihill; three daughters, LeAnn Somborn; Lisa Edwards and Sonja Lloyd; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Crossroads Hospice Charitable Foundation or The American Cancer Society in memory of Jere and the love of his life-Barbara.
