SOUTHAVEN — The memorial service for Mary Sue Cox, 72, homemaker, will be at 3 p.m. Jan. 26 with visitation starting at 1 p.m. at Cockrum United Methodist Church. Cox died Jan. 11 at her home. She was born April 15, 1940 in Memphis. She was a member of Cockrum United Methodist Church in Hernando. She leaves her husband of 45 years, Bro. Jim Cox; four sons, James Matthew Cox, James R. Cox Jr., Ernest Cox, and Jeffrey Cox; four daughters, Melody Staub, Kathy Mathis, Melissa Lloyd, and Cynthia Blackwell; 21 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family request that any memorials be made to Cockrum United Methodist Church, Building Fund, 4006 Highway 305 South, Hernando, MS 38632. Arrangements are in the care of Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven.
